Introduction
One of the Middle East's richest cities and one of the most modern cities in the world, Abu Dhabi isn't exactly on the tourist map. However, in its role as one of the main entry points for the entire region, it receives a lot of visitors, who, if they'd stop to look around, would find a rather charming city hiding beneath a sea of development.
Just forty years ago this was a tiny town where fishing was the main industry. In those four short decades it has grown into an international city of glass and concrete gleaming spires.
